Happy Weekend to you all! Is anyone else so excited that it’s SUMMER? Today was graduation at Mr. V’s school, so I am so happy to have my family all home. We’re looking forward to some travel, some family visits, some fun, a wedding, and a lot of relaxation. Libbie is starting swim lessons this week; my little girl is SO big!
Here are some things I read this week and loved.
- If you missed it on Facebook (which is all too easily to do now since they are hiding most of my stuff from you, AHEM), this article that I wrote for HomeLife was posted on LifeWay.com. It’s about reclaiming date night by setting up babysitting swaps, with several different methods to do so.
- 5 Keys to Weight Loss with Real Food at Kitchen Stewardship – Love this from Katie. Hat tip to Jo-Lynne.
- Speaking of Jo-Lynne: I loved her post, My Babies Are Growing Up!
- Rosemary-Garlic Almonds at Out of the Box Food look absolutely delicious.

Moving into our new apartment is getting closer, and I’m loving this picture for inspiration! We have dark brown faux leather couches. Don’t you love that green pillow and the gallery wall?
So, what did you read that was great this week? Link up here. You can grab the code for the button in the sidebar, if you want. Please link back to Vanderbilt Wife and add the PERMALINK to your post, not your home page.

Thanks for hosting! Love that gallery wall in the picture you pinned. I really want to do that in our next house.
Look at me! I linked up!!!
The key to the beautiful room that you featured is the grey. All of the colors, including the green pillow, have some grey in them, and that helps give it the restful feel even though there’s a lot going on in the room.
We’ve been picking out colors for our new apartment, and I was so tempted to pick a light gray for the living area. But I’m not sure if I could live with it long-term.
